This raceme with white flowers and a green stripe down the center of each petal belongs to the False Sea Onion. The plant has several medicinal uses. It tends to g dormant if it is allowed to dry out. The bulb looks just like a young onion, but smoother on the outside. The flowers are quite lovely and unusual, being green and white. It seems to grow well in pots, but the roots soon fill the pot.
