This Oxalis looks like the weed O.corniculata which spreads by a creeping rhizome and seeds, but this one has soft succlent stems and never becomes a weed. It is easy to propagate by snapping off a few stems and rooting them. If it has a supply of water it will continually flower until the frost kills it. Here the stems gradually gets longer and the plant gradually engulfs the basket. It tends to drop its flowers if it is too dry.
