This is a beautiful lobelia that loves damp places. Here I am growing it in the pond and it is triving. It is hardy and dies down in the winter. The brilliant red large flowers are eyechatching. It looks even more spectacular when it is in a group rather than as here with two or three flowering racemes. In the pond it reaches 2 feet(60cm), but in the soil it may not reach this height. In the background you can see the Calla lily and the Golden Arum both growing in the pond.
