I like this lily for is its recurved and spotted petals that hang down in tall racemes. The red and yellow petals stand out against the light green of the leaves. The looseness of the flowerheads also do not block other plants from growing nearby. I find that they need a sunny spot and can be tempermental and refuse to flower if not treated properly in the previous year. Once established they flower well and can reach 5 feet(1.6mtrs).
