Spring to Winter

This species of abutilon is a spectacular continuously flowering climber. It needs support for it to climb up and after a year or two the support is covered with the brilliant red and yellow flowers. The flowers remind me of the bleeding heart (Dicentra), but much more vibrant. It seems to survive a slight frost, but I put a sheet over it during the worst of the winter as a heavy frost may kill it.
