A friend gave me this Clivia, with narrow leaves, last year. I did not expect it to flower until next spring. I was pleasantly surprised when I went out into the conservatory and found it in flower. Normally from autumn to winter Clivia do not need any water until February March when it starts to send out its flower stalks. I will have to water this one a little this winter. I also wonder if it has its internal clock out of sync due to the cool weather we have had this year.
