Go back to weekly blog

This is a new acquisition from last year. I planted the bulb next to the Dragon Arum as I plan to keep this area especially for Arums. Arums are usually an overlooked bulb for the garden, but many like the Dragon Arum has spectacular flowers and they are hardy. One small drawback is that they often give off a stink for a day or so whilst they need pollinating as they are pollinated by flies. This I think is a small price to pay for such unusual flowers.
