Dahlias are wonderful plants for flowering from Summer and Autumn. The only problem is that they gradually get taller until they flop over unless staked. To avoid this constant cutting back to produce side shoots and a bushy plant. This yellow flower is a sport of the yellow and white bi-color. All the other flowers are yellow and white. This one still looked great so I have left it to continue flowering.
