These Phalanopsis Orchids have been flowering since June and they still have many flowers. As it gets colder in the conservatory I will move them to the front window where most of my Orchids seem to do best. The warmth and shade from this south facing window seems Ideal for all my orchids. In the winter they get chilled in the evening as the curtain is closed. The central heating keeps the temperature around 60 to 65 degrees F. They cost from five pounds upwards at Columbia market, but they last much longer than cut flowers.
