Last year the apple tree I used in the front garden for my Food Fruits and Herbs show turned out to be very small apples. Although they were very sweet and edible it was not what I wanted for my show. So I bought this one as a replacement earlier in the winter. It should be a very showy single cordon red Winsor apple. This is about its full size as it is on dwarfing M9 rootstock. Should look great. It is now at the back garden being pollinated by the larger apple tree. After flowering it will go at the front like the pear tree.
