Every year the flower of this Arum gets bigger. This year it is over 18 inches (45cm) long. For one day only it stunk the garden out. I think this is a small price to pay for such a lovely purple, velvety flower. I wonder if it will get larger next year. It is hardy and dies down in late summer and reappears in the spring.
