This verigated variety survives the frost to regrow in the spring and summer. It is particularly striking with the sun shining through the leaves. It looks like it is covered in flowers. By the end of the summer it hangs down and obscures the pot as well as having some shoots 18 inches(50cm) in the air. Against athe dark brickwork or a dark background it is striking.
