This plant is said to be hardy down to about -15 degrees C. Last year it died down to the bare stump and this year it is taking its time to resprout. Finally at last it is now growing fast and I am looking forward to another year of gigantic 6 inch bright burgundy-red flowers! The shorter stature of Hibiscus 'Luna Red' makes it an excellent choice for smaller gardens or large patio containers. Other colours are available.
