This Oxalis does not produces as much flowers as O.crassipes, but the leaves are spectacular in itself. It forms bulbils in the soil and goes dormant in the winter. Planted mixed with O.crassipes and other Oxalis it provides great interest in the garden, pot or basket. It is succeptable to rust and other fungus sometimes making the leaves go greenish. Fed well and given enough water it will produce flowers and leaves until frost kills the leaves.
