This is the common Honeysuckle and is a typical climber in most English gardens. It flowers for a long time in summer and early autumn when the scent, especially in the evenings, fills the air with its wonderful smell. I grow it with three other climbers, Clematis Montana, Winter Jasmine and Passion Flower, which gives me a series of flowering from winter right through until frost. The only snag with Honeysuckle is that it can get rampant and does need cutting back every year to control it.
