This is lovely Iris when it is in full flower. It easily reaches six feet(2mtrs) in my pond. Unfortunately it is so vigorous that I have to divide it every other year or so. The time of dividing is important as it may not flower if you divide it too late in the winter. The best time to divide it is sometime after flowering but before the autumn when it is still growing. This enables it to generate flowering shoots.
