Yes I know it is a tenatcous weed which can grow to 10 feet(3mtrs) or more pushing its way through a five foot high bramble, but the flowers are wonderful in August and the bees love it. It is one of the mainstay of honey production. Its other name of Fireweed is earned as it is one of the first plants to appear after a fire. Its roots run easily and can withstand some drought conditions.
