This month the garden has taken a back seat again and I am struggling to keep up with the necessary work. Still the flowers are flowering their hearts out. The Pond Lily Cactus (Nopalxochia phyllanthoides)has been putting up a great show. The roses in the garden is also looking great with many blooms like the peace rose and the many red roses. The Spider Flower (Grevillea juniperina) is still flowering well and the Oxalis is providing masses of ground level pink flowers. I made a visit to one of my favourite gardens Kew and after about 50 years I finally went inside Kew Palace, which is now included in the entrance price. It was an eye opener to see how kings use to live in the 18th century.
