Description
On Friday 21 and Saturday 22 February, the Lawrence and Lindley Halls in Westminster will play host to a wealth of early spring plants, advice and inspiration. Fresh winter colour and early-flowering plants will be exhibited by some of the UK’s best nurserymen and growers, with an abundance of bulbs and plants to buy. Those interested in garden design can take advantage of experts from the Society of Garden Designers and visitors will also benefit from a talks programme led by top garden designers. Leading design colleges will also be on hand to discuss their course options. Some of the UK’s best nurseries will be at the show with a spectacular array of spring flowering plants to tempt inspired gardeners, and to ensure they can take home all they need, garden accessories, books and tools will be available to buy from specialist shopping stands. Visitors will also be able to 'ask the experts' and pick up top tips about garden design and plants from the RHS advisory team and garden designers.

RHS Great London Plant Fair The Royal Horticultural Society 1 - 2nd -April- 2014 £5 - 8 10-7pm 10-5pm No Pic
Description
This vibrant celebration of spring with an emphasis on plant sales and the feel of an “up-market plant fair” sees the Lawrence and Lindley Halls bursting with nurseries and tradestands showing their spring wares. The Lindley Hall will feature the RHS Early Daffodil Competition. There will be a full programme of talks on spring flowers, given by the growers themselves. We are also proud to be launching our updated Gardening in the Global Greenhouse report, and visitors can also attend a second programme of talks on how to garden in a changing climate. The RHS Spring Fair Late will take place in the Lindley Hall on 1 April from 6pm to 9pm and visitors can stock up on plants and take home tips and advice on how to revitalize their frostbitten gardens. Delicious edible treats and horticulture-inspired drinks will be available for you to taste and try. The 2014 RHS Flower Show Cardiff is a special one as the event celebrates its 10th birthday. The show, held from 11-13 April 2014 at Bute Park, Cardiff Castle, has brought to life Cardiff City centre each spring with its yellow daffodils and will do so again for the 10th year. The show prides itself on bringing horticultural excellence to Bute Park with floral displays, features and Show Gardens demonstrating the very best in RHS gardening practice. Among the treats in store for visitors in 2014 are exhibits from 60 of the best plant nurseries in Great Britain, all gathered together for a spectacular show in the Floral Marquee. If you want to get inspiration for your own plot, don’t miss the medal-winning Show Gardens, from well-known designers, first timers, colleges and students. There are plenty of other inspirational features too, giving you ideas to take home and try in your own garden. And of course visitors can find all the plants they need in the Plant Village, where creative displays make for a fun shopping experience. Other must-haves for the gardener can be found from the carefully selected trade exhibitors.
