Here a starling is in flight in front of a blackbird that is taking nesting materials into the Ivy on the wall at the bottom of the garden. I will leave the pruning of this ivy until the end of April when the young should have fledged. Now that the weather is getting warmer I must sit out in the garden and take pictures of the birds feeding from the feeder. Today I saw a mouse climbing up the Ivy to get to the seeds in the feeder. As the feeder is hanging from a wire I don't think mice would get to iit, but I must keep an eve out.
