This evergreen shrub is a very slow grower. This one is about five years old and is only about one and a half feet(90cm) tall. Its thick glossy leaves adds interest at this time of the year. The wonderful thing about this plant is that its flowers are very scented and gives the garden a pleasant smell at this time of the year. I usually bring it near the back door so that the scent wafts into the house. The berries also adds interest. In the background of this picture you can see one of the Abutilon wrapped in bubble-wrap.
